What is Yeongdeungpo Art Square?

Yeongdeungpo Art Square is a cultural and arts space located on Basement Level 2 of Times Square, 15 Yeongjung-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. It is directly connected to Yeongdeungpo Station, making it very easy to reach, and it is a place where anyone can freely enjoy art and culture. It opened in 2022 and was designed so that children and families can visit easily and comfortably.

Space Layout and Things to Enjoy

Yeongdeungpo Art Square is divided into three main zones.

1. Square A

   • This is the first space you see at the entrance, introducing the history and cultural heritage of Yeongdeungpo, as well as local information by area.
   • At the 26 m long large media wall, you can experience immersive digital visual art, media art, and videos showing the four seasons of Yeongdeungpo.
   • With your kids, you can easily and enjoyably learn about a variety of stories, from Yeongdeungpo's past to its present and future.

2. Square R

   • You can view a wide range of Yeongdeungpo tourism information at a glance, and it also serves as a resting space where you can read and relax.
   • Special exhibitions change by season or theme, so each visit brings a new cultural experience.
   • Small events such as pop-up exhibitions or small performances are often held, which you can enjoy with your kids.

3. Square T

   • This is the largest space, where a variety of exhibitions and performances take place.
   • Its folding doors allow the space to change freely, so larger exhibitions, performances, and various hands-on programs are held here.
   • There are many chances for your child to see and experience artworks in person.

  • Food is not allowed inside, but drinks can be stored at the exhibition entrance.
  • Stroller rental, parking, high chairs, a nursing room, and diaper changing stations are available within Times Square. Reservations are not supported.
  • There are many places for kids to enjoy within Times Square, including a kids cafe, a movie theater, and restaurants, making it a great place to visit with children.
