Buddhist Central Museum

Introduction

The Buddhist Central Museum is a free museum located within the grounds of Jogyesa Temple at 55 Ujeongguk-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul. It preserves, manages, and exhibits Buddhist cultural heritage items from temples across the country that are difficult to store and care for on site.
Spanning three basement levels, it includes a permanent exhibition hall, storage rooms, a conservation treatment room, and curatorial research offices.
It is also an educational space where you and your kids can experience Korea's traditional Buddhist culture and a wide range of historical heritage.
