Incheon Metropolitan City Museum is Korea's first public museum, opened in 1946, and it is a meaningful place where you can see the history and culture of Incheon from prehistoric times to the present at a glance. • Outside the museum, items such as the Suil Line narrow-gauge train that was actually used are on display, so you can enjoy a historical experience outdoors as well.

Visiting with kids?

• Hands-on classes for children and family educational programs are held regularly.
• For hands-on programs, you can fill out an application on site and start right away without a reservation.
• If a child completes 4 out of the 6 activities, they can receive a small gift. Only elementary school students can participate, and the separate class format takes about 1 hour.
• Activity sheets are provided for elementary school students, making the visit even more engaging as families solve them together while exploring.
• The hands-on activities change once a week, and detailed information is available on the website.
• On the 1st floor of the museum, there is a cafe where guardians can rest while children take part in activities.

Amenities and parking

• Amenities: parking lot (outdoor, free but limited in size), stroller rental, diaper changing table, nursing room, baby chair. Reservation service is not provided.
• Parking is free, but spaces are limited, so please keep that in mind.

Fees and programs

• Admission and hands-on program fees are both free, so you can visit comfortably without pressure.

Good to know before you visit

• Hours: 09:00-18:00 (Tuesday-Sunday, closed every Monday)
• The Incheon Landing Operation Memorial Hall is right next door, so it is also a great idea to visit both on the same outing.
• If you ask in advance about guided tours or group visits, you may be able to enjoy an even more informative visit.
