It is a representative Confucian building from the Joseon era, built to honor Ryu Seong-ryong, a disciple of Toegye Yi Hwang. It is Historic Site No. 260 and one of Korea's nine major seowon, listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 2019. The scenery is beautiful, so it is great to visit together with Hahoe Village.
