• The Soisan Monorail departs from Cheorwon History and Culture Park and goes up near the Soisan Observatory, letting you enjoy Cheorwon's beautiful scenery along the way.
• Up to 8 people can ride together, and the large windows make it easy for families to take in the wide-open views.
• After getting off the monorail, you will need to walk a little farther up the deck path to reach the observatory, and it is manageable for children as well.
• From the top of Soisan, you can take in the Cheorwon Plain, Baengmagoji, and even the northern area in the distance at a glance.
• The monorail runs every 5 minutes from 9:00 until the end of operating hours.

Cheorwon History and Culture Park: A Unique Place Where the Past and Present Coexist

• The former Cheorwon Station site has been restored so you can experience the atmosphere of the past.
• The townscape of Cheorwon-eup from the 1930s has been recreated with photos and materials, so you can see what the old village looked like up close.
• You can try a modern-era rickshaw ride, which is available free for 15 minutes after applying at the general information center.
• There are many things to see, including exhibition halls, a retro-style cafe, shops selling local specialties, and a variety of modern-era buildings.
• On weekends, special programs such as outdoor performances are sometimes held, and the large plaza gives kids room to play freely.

1. You can also buy monorail tickets on-site, but they may sell out, so booking in advance through Naver is recommended.
2. Monorail fares are 7,000 won for adults ages 19 and up with a 3,000 won Cheorwon local gift certificate provided, 4,000 won for youths and children with a 2,000 won gift certificate provided, and free for children age 6 and under, although children under 36 months cannot ride regardless of whether they are accompanied by a guardian.
3. Families with 3 or more children can receive free admission benefits.
4. The monorail and park are closed every Tuesday.
5. Parking is spacious and free.
