Parenting Tips for Songnisan E-Leports
- Located within Solhyang Park, it is great to enjoy as a half-day course combined with attractions such as the monorail, Sky Bike, and Sky Trail.
- Other activity experiences require safety equipment fitting and training time, so it is recommended to arrive with plenty of time, 20-30 minutes before your reservation.
- If there is rain or strong winds, operations may be suspended for safety reasons, so check with the venue before departure.
- Download the Jeongipum Boeun County Resident App on your smartphone and register in advance to receive a 10% discount, so be sure to prepare before your visit.
- Wait times can become fairly long on weekend afternoons, so a relaxed morning visit is recommended. Weekdays are very quiet and ideal for riding.
- You can admire the majestic ridges of Songnisan and Gubyeongsan and spectacular scenery without struggling up steep mountain paths, making it great for families with children.
- Advance reservations through Naver are also available.
- The monorail can carry up to 20 people per car and operates at approximately 20-minute intervals, so wait times are usually not very long.
- From late October to early November, it is famous for its colorful autumn foliage, and large crowds may gather, so please keep this in mind.
- You can use the parking lot for free directly in front of the station, so there is no parking burden. Stroller storage is also available at the station for added convenience.
- After arriving at the summit, enjoy refreshing snacks and baked goods at the Moktakbong Cafe Observatory, and use the telescope to take a closer look at the surrounding mountains.
- Next to the cafe is a 100-year-old apricot tree moktak said to grant wishes, so do not miss the small joy of making a wish and tapping it with your child.
- Before or after riding the monorail, visit nearby Solhyang Park or Pine Media Forest for a fulfilling day trip.
