Parenting Tips for Cheongnyeongpo
- Weekends and public holidays can be very crowded with visitors, so to explore comfortably without waiting, we recommend visiting early in the morning.
- Because the site has a unique layout where visitors enter by taking a ferry across the river, boarding lines can become long, so be sure to bring a wide-brimmed hat, parasol, or sunscreen to protect yourself from the strong sun.
- The island's walking trails include many areas with rough stone paths and steep wooden stairs, so be sure to wear comfortable sneakers to protect your feet safely.
- There are many dirt paths and steep stairs, so stroller access is not possible on the island for safety reasons. If you are visiting with a baby, it is best to prepare a baby carrier in advance instead of a stroller.
- There are no shops on the island where you can buy drinks or snacks, so please prepare bottled water or beverages near the ticket office in advance to enjoy while walking around.
- At Eoso, the house where King Danjong actually lived, professional docent tours are available at all times, allowing you to vividly experience history, so be sure to join with your child.
