Parenting Tips for Jeongseo Insect Experience Center
- The building is thoughtfully arranged from the 1st floor to the rooftop garden on the 3rd floor, making it a great place to enjoy a comfortable indoor outing with children regardless of the weather.
- In the 1st-floor ecology taxidermy room, you can observe a wide variety of displays, including rare preserved fish such as golden sturgeon and giant pirarucu, as well as live freshwater shrimp and water beetles.
- At the center of the exhibition hall, there is a hands-on zone where visitors can touch rhinoceros beetle larvae with their hands and feel their texture.
- On one side of the 1st floor, there is a neat indoor ecological playground where children from toddlers to lower elementary grades can safely run around and burn off energy.
- The 2nd-floor media exhibition room has soft beanbag sofas, making it a great place to lie down comfortably, watch videos, or take a break with children while enjoying coloring activities.
- The submarine-themed Goesan Lake Insect Exploration Team area offers child-friendly explanations and a chance to discover the mysterious world of freshwater fish, creating an immersive experience.
- At the entrance to the experience center, there is a cute small library shaped like a rhinoceros beetle, so be sure not to miss it and visit with your child.
- The Chungbuk Aquarium is next door, making it easy to visit both places together.
