Parenting Tips for Gimhae Match Exhibition Hall

Located right next to the Jinyeong Station Railway Museum on the site of the former Jinyeong Station, it is great for visiting both enriching spaces together in one trip without wasting time traveling between them.
The exhibition hall is not very large, but its small yet well-curated layout evokes nostalgic retro charm, making it perfect for a light and comfortable visit with children.
Children today can visually and easily learn about the match manufacturing process, including how matches, a fire-starting tool that is difficult to encounter in everyday life, were created and produced in the past.
Actual production machinery used directly in the factory is displayed in the center, preserved from the time when the Gyeongnam Industrial Corporation, Korea's last match factory, was still in operation, creating a vivid sense of the worksite.
At the Match Culture Experience Zone, visitors can press a stamp shaped like the retro cover of the once-famous Shinheung match brand onto paper to create a special personal souvenir to take home.
