Parenting Tips for Geochang National Recreation Campground Mirinae Forest
- When staying in a bungalow room, please be sure to bring personal hygiene items from home, as basic toiletries and amenities are not provided, including towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors.
- Right next to the campground, the playground, valley, and Wolseong Space Science Museum are all gathered together, making it a great outing route with children.
- The use of charcoal fire pits is completely prohibited within the campground, so if you would like to enjoy a barbecue or cooking, you must bring a personal portable gas burner.
- The area is at a high elevation with clear air, so in the evening you can enjoy the spectacular Milky Way and stargazing across the night sky. If weather conditions are right, you may even catch a romantic shooting star.
- When reserving the camping deck zone, choose the Polaris, Sirius, and Antares sites for wide-open mountain views, or select the Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars sites if you prefer to be close to facilities such as sinks and restrooms.
- For the cozy cabin-style bungalow units, the North Star room is the most popular and highly rated for families of up to 4 people, while the Altair room is most popular and highly rated for large families of up to 6 people.
